Currently AAC runs eight leagues.

Badminton

Our brand new Badminton doubles league operates on Sundays at Warren Park from 10AM to 2PM. All skill levels welcomed, our league will offer Recreational, Intermediate, Competitive, and Advanced. Each doubles team will consist of 2 to 5 players, so bring your team or register as an individual and we’ll place you on a team!

Beach Volleyball

Runs on Monday nights from early June to mid-August on Montrose Beach.

Darts

Fall darts runs from October to March on Thursday nights among many sponsor bars. A summer season begins in June and ends in August on Thursday nights among many sponsor bars.

Indoor Volleyball

This league runs year round with the Spring session beginning in February and ending in May. A more relaxed summer season follows from mid-June through August. Fall starts in September and ends in January.

Pool

The Pool League has a spring season that runs from February to May, a fall season that runs from September to December. Matches are played on Monday nights at local bars, who in turn sponsor the teams. Teams can carry between four and eight players, and may play between four and six players each night. A match consists of 10 games of 8-ball, five singles matches and five double matches. Each season ends with an awards party and a blind draw tournament with prizes.

Table Tennis

Table Tennis is played during the Fall and Spring seasons. The Fall season begins in September and ends in November/December. The Spring season begins in February and runs through April. We currently offer three divisions of play, recreational, intermediate, and competitive.

Second City Tennis

SCT has been offering tennis programs since 1987, formed its first Board of Directors in 1998 and currently has over 900 members. SCT members include men and women at all skill levels, living throughout the Chicago metropolitan area.

SCT leagues and programs include a summer singles league, a winter doubles league, an annual member party and other programs and events. Each August, SCT also hosts the Second City Tennis Classic, a regular stop on the Gay and Lesbian Tennis Alliance (GLTA) 40-tournament worldwide tour
